Call me old school, but I’ve always had something for that many classic of house design motifs: the pineapple. This showy fruit has represented hospitality for centuries, and for mepersonally, watching a cherry onto a lamp, wallpaper or planter at a house translates into a warm feeling of welcome that I can’t resist.
Even though some people dismiss pineapple designs as a portion of ’80s preparation, in truth they transcend trends. They’re especially large in the Southern U.S., where hospitality has been a point of pride, however there is no region or layout fashion with which they do not get along.
